Flyibot was established in 2014 by its owner Kevin Snell. As a dedicated aerial imaging enterprise it has gathered a plethora of film and photographic aerial content for various industries and clients. We also work with film production companies, freelance cameramen and photographers providing still images and film for their own projects.
Kevin served in the British Army for 13 years as a senior avionics engineer on military attack and reconnaissance helicopters and held a private pilot licence on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft. A career in the financial world followed working for a number of blue chip asset management companies at Director level.
He is a keen photographer and qualified Thermographer, the latter enabling interpretation and reporting of thermal imaging data for various industries.
Qualified to fly Remote Pilot Aircraft Systems (RPAS), Flyibot has been given permission by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to operate on a commercial basis and has third party liability cover to £5m.
